Cous Cous is a type of North African semolina in granules made from crushed durum wheat. It is made using whole wheat durum flour and water and is partially cooked making it very quick easy to prepare at home.
The bran of the wheat berry is retained in wholewheat durum flour used in this couscous, making it a a low GI option. No insecticides or pesticides were used during the growing process and no preservatives or additives were included during the processing of the couscous.
